Creating a Custom Portal

Step 1: Account Log In

Start by logging into your Syndicately account.

  1. Visit the Syndicately website.
  2. Log in to your account using your credentials.

Step 2: Access Settings

Once you're logged in, navigate to the settings section of your account.

  1. On the dashboard, find and click on the 'Settings' option.

Step 3: Initiate Portal Creation

Within the settings, you can start the process of setting up your custom portal.

  1. Look for the option labeled "Create My Own Portal".
  2. Click on this option to initiate the process.

Step 4: Enter Credit Card Information

Next, you'll need to provide your credit card information.

  1. Enter your credit card details as prompted.
  2. Upon successful addition of your card, a confirmation message will appear, indicating the successful creation of your subscription.

Step 5: Set Up Your Portal

Now, you can start setting up your portal.

  1. Return to the "Create My Own Portal" section in settings.
  2. Input various details about your portal, such as the portal's name, a subdomain (which should be one word in lowercase), a tagline, and a description. This information will be displayed on your custom portal once it's created.

Step 6: Add Logo and Customize Header Background

You can further personalize your portal by adding a logo and customizing the header background.

  1. Upload your logo.
  2. Choose your preferred header background.

Step 7: Submit Your Details

Once you've filled in all the necessary information, you're ready to create your portal.

  1. Click on "Submit".
  2. A confirmation message will appear, indicating that your organization has been saved successfully.

Step 8: Manage Team

Next, you'll need to invite yourself to the custom portal.

  1. Navigate back to the settings and select "Manage Team".
  2. Invite yourself into the custom portal using the email address you used when creating the portal.

Step 9: Sign In to Your Custom Portal

Finally, you can sign in to your custom portal.

  1. Use the email and password you used to create your account.
  2. Share the link to your custom portal with others if you wish.
