Adjust Investor Deal Terms

This guide will walk you through the process of adjusting individual deal terms on the Syndicately platform.

Step 1: Navigate to the Deal Page

Start by navigating to the deal page.

  1. Log in to your Syndicately account.
  2. On the dashboard, find and click on the deal for which you want to adjust terms.

Step 2: Locate the Cap Table

Once you're on the deal page, you'll need to locate the cap table.

  1. Scroll down the deal page until you find the cap table.

Step 3: Find the Investor

Next, you'll need to locate the investor for whom you want to adjust deal terms.

  1. In the cap table, find the row corresponding to the investor.

Step 4: Access the Edit Option

Now, you're ready to access the edit option.

  1. Scroll to the right on the investor's row until you reach the column labeled "Action".
  2. Click on "Action" to reveal the "Edit" option.

Step 5: Update the Deal Terms

Clicking on "Edit" will allow you to update the subscription amount, management fee, and carry percentage.

  1. Click on "Edit".
  2. Update the subscription amount, management fee, and carry percentage as needed.

Step 6: Save or Cancel Changes

After you've made the necessary adjustments, you can either save or cancel the changes.

  1. Click on the "Edit" button again to reveal the "Save" option.
  2. Click "Save" to save the changes. This will generate a new subscription document and alert the investor to sign the documents.
  3. Alternatively, click "Cancel" to disregard the changes.
